Cow crosses border, Armenian border guards return it to the Turks
A cow crossed the border with Armenia from the Arpacai region of Kars.
According to ermenihaber.am, the Turkish Sondakika news website reports that the shepherd had beaten the cow, which had made the animal escape and jump into the Arax River. Armenian border guards removed the cow from the river and saved it from drowning.
The villagers have addressed Digori village council to receive the cow. On July 2, head of the village Isa Bolat talked about the issue with Armenia’s border guards.
After the corresponding procedure, Armenia’s border guards took the cow to the river, but the animal refused to cross the river. The guards threw the bridle at the other side of the river so that the cow’s owner could take it out of the river.
After receiving the cow, the Turkish shepherd said he was happy to have found his cow after three days.
