Armenian community of Sydney has organized charity concert

The Armenian community of Sydney has organized a charity concert, the proceeds of which will go to Syrian-Armenians.

According to Armenia.com.au, the concert will be held on June 28 and will be the last of the weeklong charity events. The community will send the sums and clothes collected during the events to the Syrian-Armenians in a state of war in Aleppo and Damascus.

The concert will feature performances of Armenian folk and ethnographic songs by Australian-Armenian singers. During the week, the Armenian community held various events aimed at raising public awareness about the situation facing Syrian-Armenians and raising funds to provide them with food, clothes and medicine. The amount of funds raised will also be announced during the charity events.
