Область Тоскана �?талии 25 марта приняла резолюцию, признающую Геноцид армян, сообщает сайт armeniangenocide100.org.

В связи со 100-летием Геноцида армян совет армянской общины Рима обратился с письмом ко всем важнейшим областным администрациям и мэриям �?талии с просьбой принять резолюцию.

В этой связи область Тоскана 25 марта на парламентском заседании приняла резолюцию, в которой выразила солидарность с армянским народом.

Резолюцию представили Мауро Романелли, Даниела Ластри и Джанлука Лаччери. В ней говорится, что она должна быть направлена в секретариат совета армянской общины Рима для дальнейшей передачи в Музей Геноцида армян.

“Twenty million people were killed during WWI, and most of the killings took place in our territory. Yes, the Armenians, Turks, Kurds, Arabs and other ethnic groups living in Anatolia had their share of suffering during that war,” the parliamentary speaker said, emphasizing the need to assess the perspectives of the idea of “fair remembrance”.

The Turkish official also emphasized that Turkey has opened its archives for researchers and wants the Armenians and everyone else with documents and information to submit them to historians.

According to Cicek, Turkey is the most interested in shedding light on and revealing the events of 1915. “Who are the main roleplayers and who was behind all this? Who provoked those events? Who encouraged them? We want it to be multilaterally substantiated with facts, no matter what the result may be.”
