Opening ceremony of “Breath of Syrian-Armenian Culture in Yerevan” New Year’s charity fair was held

The opening ceremony of the “Breath of Syrian-Armenian Culture in Yerevan” New Year’s charity fair was held with the support of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO and the Armenian Red Cross Society on December 17.

Syrian-Armenian masters of pastry and handmade work, as well as Syrian-Armenians having started their businesses in Armenia showcased their products at the eighth charity fair in Yerevan.

The event began with opening remarks by RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, who wished the participants of the charity fair success and particularly mentioned: “You are in your homeland. You are on your land. You are home. We are doing everything we can to make sure your businesses grow and to make sure you enhance your skills, achieve greater heights and turn new ideas into a reality.”

The minister wished the Syrian-Armenians a Happy New Year and wished that next year becomes a year of rebirth, development and advancement for Armenia and the Armenian people.
