Recently Armenia’s Ambassador to Austria Arman Kirakossian had a meeting with Second President of the National Council (Lower Chamber of the newly elected Parliament of Austria), representative of the People’s Party of Austria Karlheinz Kopf, reports the RA MFA press office to “Hayern Aysor”.

Congratulating the interlocutor on his party’s victory in the parliamentary elections, formation of a ruling coalition and assuming the responsible office, Ambassador Kirakossian presented the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy and Armenia’s and the international community’s efforts for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.

During the meeting, Armenia’s Ambassador and the Second President of the National Council of Austria exchanged views on several issues on the agenda of bilateral relations.

The sides underlined the importance of activating the inter-parliamentary cooperation and discussed issues on the formation and activities of the parliamentary friendship groups.
