The Minister attached importance to the young repatriate’s pro-national activities in Armenia and stated the following: “What you are doing is invaluable for the nation and the country. I am certain that the example of young people like you who have discovered the homeland and made contributions to the solutions to the homeland’s problems, as well as your successful experience of returning to, living and working in the homeland will serve as a wonderful impetus for thousands of young Diaspora Armenians.”
During the meeting, the sides discussed the Foundation’s past activities, goals and objectives and touched upon young Diaspora Armenians’ options and perspectives for repatriation.
Larisa Hovhannisyan extended thanks for the fruitful meeting and words of appraisal and added the following: “Due to my father’s job, my family and I lived in Russia and later in the United States of America for many years. However, I have the fondest memories of Armenia and the warmest feelings for Armenia. I always knew that I had to return someday. Many young Armenians want to help shape the future of Armenia. It is necessary to create a platform for them. Teach For Armenia Foundation is such a platform that provides young specialists with the opportunity to implement their plans to help the homeland and shape its future.”
