Repatriate Avedis Daldalian wants to carry out an investment project in Armenia

Repatriate businessman Avedis Daldalian was born in Jerusalem. During the difficult years, his parents managed to raise him as a dignified Armenian abroad and keep the love for Armenia alive in his soul.
Due to the war in Israel, he and his family moved to Lebanon where Daldalian worked for the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar) for many years. His father was also a member of the political party.
In 1974, Avedis Daldalian started visiting Armenia and established a connection with the Homeland. Until then, he had lived in Germany for fifteen years, but hadn’t been able to adapt to life in Germany. Three years ago, he and his wife moved to Armenia.
“I came to Armenia with the call of the blood. I felt the demand to return to the Homeland like air and water since I didn’t feel spiritually calm and safe in any other country,” Avedis Daldalian said in an interview with Hayern Aysor, adding that he wants to work and contribute to Armenia’s advancement and empowerment in any way he can.
Noticing the poor conditions of elevators in Yerevan, Avedis Daldalian has decided to make an investment for the renovation of elevators and the placement of new ones. He might even open an elevator factory. He will try to turn this idea into a reality with his friends, and this will lead to the growth of Armenian economy and the creation of jobs.
Daldalian has also discussed his plans during a recent meeting with RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, who attached importance to his willingness to support the Homeland, his patriotism and future-oriented plans.
According to Avedis Daldalian, Armenia is growing, and he is noticing the changes every day.
“Of course, our country faces hardships and challenges, but we Armenians can solve the problems through national unity. In spite of all the hardships, when my friends from Lebanon call and ask about life in Armenia, I tell them that Armenia is paradise,” Avedis Daldalian concluded.
