Russian and Armenian singers share first place at New Wave Junior 2017 international song contest

The representatives of Russia and Armenia both won first place in the final stage of the New Wave Junior 2017 international song contest held in Crimea.

Anahit Adamyan from Armenia and Arina Petrova from Russia won first place, followed by Cooper Tali from Israel and Russia’s representative Evgeny Boytsov in second and third places, respectively.

Anahit Adamyan, 13, is a student of the Igor Krutoy Popular Music Academy and 2nd place winner of the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Kazakhstan’s representative Amina Zhapar received the Sympathy of the Audience Award.

RIA Novosti reports that the final stage was held with the participation of 13 performers from 11 countries, including Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Germany, Israel, Latvia, Moldova, France, Kazakhstan and Abkhazia.
