As reported Hayern Aysor, RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan; RA Deputy Minister of Culture Arev Samuelyan; President of the Miss Armenia Foundation, organizer of the Miss Armenia Beauty Pageant, Miss CIS-1999, Mrs. Globe-2009 Gohar Harutyunyan; Executive Director of “Pyunik” Pan-Armenian Human Resources Development Foundation Suren Naljyan and Syrian-Armenian designer and Director of Shadoyan Fashion Kevork Shadoyan gave a press conference.

During the press conference, the speakers presented the rules and procedure of the Miss Armenia Pan-Armenian Beauty Pageant to be held in September at the initiative of the President of the Miss Armenia Foundation, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture and with the support of the Ministry of Diaspora. They also emphasized the importance of organizing the pan-Armenian competition.

Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan particularly stated the following: “The Ministry of Diaspora reacted to this initiative with great willingness. There are also many beautiful Diaspora Armenian ladies and women who can present the beauty, intellectuality and the national image of an Armenian woman. What also lies on the shoulders of the winner of the Miss Armenia Beauty Pageant is the serious responsibility of presenting Armenia to the world.”

President of the Miss Armenia Foundation Gohar Harutyunyan emphasized that the main goal of the beauty pageant is to organize annual beauty pageants in Armenia and ensure the participation of Armenia’s representative at prestigious international beauty pageants. “Ladies and women between the ages of 17 and 26 can register by filling out the application posted on Missarmenia.org. The deadline for registration is July 15, 2017. The registered participants of the Diaspora will pass the pre-selection stages online, and the selected participants will be invited to Armenia. We will take care of their expenses for stay, food, clothes and security. The final stage of the beauty pageant will be held on September 15,” Gohar Harutyunyan noted.

Let us add that the pageant’s organizers have set the objective to hold a fair and transparent election, turn the winner of the beauty pageant into the symbol of beauty, intellect, elegance and kindness and hold the beautiful annual final event that will be long-anticipated and interesting for all Armenians, as well as provide the participants with the opportunity to express themselves in modeling and the film industry.
