Hayrenik Armenian Folk Dance Ensemble kept the honor of Armenia high

On November 6, the municipality of Kiev, with its pillared hall, opened its doors for several dozens of ensembles of numerous nationalities participating in the international TV competition-festival.
The festival was organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and entitled “Ukrainian Unison”. It featured performances by high-level national ensembles, and that is why there was also a lot of tension in the hall.
The committee praised the brilliant and very exciting performance of the Armenian dance “Sardarapat” by Ukraine’s Hayrenik Armenian Folk Dance Ensemble and granted the first prize for Best Ensemble. The unmatched, beautiful and charming Margarita Mirzoyan, whose graceful dance charmed the audience, won the first prize in the Best Female Solo Dancer category. We congratulate the dance ensemble on its two prizes, wishing more success on the best stages. We also express deep gratitude to the ensemble’s artistic director Gohar Gevorgyan for her invaluable efforts aimed at preserving the Armenian identity.
May you always succeed, Hayrenik!
