Argentine-Armenian community thanks the RA Ministry of Diaspora for its great support

Every year, the Armenian community of Argentina solemnly holds the Buenos Aires Celebra Armenia festive event. For the Armenian community, it is a major event that provides the Armenians of Argentina with the opportunity to show all the national and cultural traditions of the Armenian nation.

As in the past, this year’s event also gathered representatives of all the unions, societies, associations and institutions of the Armenian community of Argentina. As a result of the great efforts of the various women’s committees, we managed to introduce thousands of Argentines to traditional Armenian national dishes, pastries, songs and dances that the locals have always admired.

The event featured performances by not only the various singers, bands, orchestras and dance companies of the community, but also winner of the “Folk Singer” TV competition Grigor Mirzoyan, who had come to perform with the support of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia. Thousands of young Armenians listened to the performances by young and talented singer Grigor Mirzoyan with joy and great emotions, and this serves as a great impetus for us Armenians living abroad.

Taking the opportunity, the young singer also performed at the ARS Resort, the banquet hosted by “Hatchni” Compatriotic Union and the Siranoush Hall of the Armenian Center, which organized an unforgettable event for the schoolchildren of the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Armenian School and Marie Manoogian Armenian School. Mirzoyan also performed in Montevideo.

We would like to express our deep gratitude to the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia for its great assistance.
