“Breath of Syrian-Armenian Culture in Yerevan” charity exhibition-sale dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Armenian Independence

On September 19, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia, the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO launched the already traditional “Breath of Syrian-Armenian Culture in Yerevan” charity exhibition-sale at Vernissage Flea Market, showcasing the handmade items, jewels and pastries of over 50 Syrian-Armenians.

RA Acting Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan visited the exhibition-sale and told journalists the following: “The 50 selected pavilions symbolize the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia and the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. For the past five years, our compatriots have been participating in the development of the independent Armenia and have been helping enhance certain branches of the economy with their works, innovations, creative approaches and businesses. Compared to previous years, there are more participants and a greater variety of commodities. I believe such exhibitions help Syrian-Armenians become more actively integrated into Armenian society. I would like to express my greetings to and congratulate our compatriots for such beautiful occasions and wish that each of them manages to settle and work in the Homeland.”

The exhibition-sale will also be open on September 20 (10:00-19:00).
