Catholicos Aram I held consultations over demand for return of Catholicosate of Sis in Geneva

Over the past few days, in Geneva, Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia has been holding consultations over the lawsuit claiming the return of the historic Catholicosate of Sis of the Holy See of Cilicia.
According to the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, the latest developments in Turkey, as well as the new conditions created in the relations between Turkey and the European Court of Human Rights and their potential impact on the lawsuit were discussed during the consultations. The upcoming steps were also discussed.
On April 27, 2015, the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia filed a lawsuit against the Constitutional Court of Turkey with the demand for the return of the historic property of the Catholicosate of Sis.
