The General Department for the European Union and Foreign Relations of the Turkish Ministry of National Education is taking steps to make sure no Turk participates in the international conference to be held on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

According to the Turkish İlerihaber.org, writes ermenihaber.am, the Department has addressed the Department for Notarial and Educational Technologies with a letter demanding that, in case of receiving invitations, no Turkish delegation participates in the conference to be held by the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia from September 15 to 18, 2016.

In its turn, the Department for Notarial and Educational Technologies has instructed Turkey’s governors’ offices and the national education departments of provinces to refrain from participating in the conference in case of receiving corresponding invitations from the Armenian party.
