Armenian President meets with outgoing Kuwaiti Ambassador

President Serzh Sargsyan today received outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Armenia Bassam Mohammad Al-Qabandi, as reported the press service of the President of the Republic of Armenia to Hayern Aysor.
The head of state expressed gratitude to Ambassador Al-Qabandi for the work that he had done during his diplomatic mission and praised the consistent efforts that the Ambassador had made for the development of bilateral relations for more than four years, thanks to which Armenian-Kuwaiti relations have been raised to a qualitatively new level. The President voiced hope that the next ambassador of Kuwait to Armenia would work on expanding and deepening the relations between the two friendly countries with the same vigor and dedication. Serzh Sargsyan wished Bassam Mohammad Al-Qabandi success in his future activities and assured that he would always be a friend of Armenia.
Ambassador Al-Qabandi expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic of Armenia for the hospitality and for the high appreciation of his activities. He stated that the successes in the bilateral relations between the two countries would impossible without the support of the President of the Republic of Armenia, the Government of the Republic of Armenia and his other colleagues. The Ambassador also said he had learned a lot from the Armenian people during his term in office.
During the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of trade and economic relations between Armenia and Kuwait and the opportunities for future development.
