Participants of “Ari Tun” Program joined participants of “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival

On August 5, the participants of the sixth stage of the 2016 “Ari Tun” Program attended the grand opening ceremony of the Days of Choral Arts Program of the 3rd “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival organized by the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia. The opening ceremony featured performances by the Armenian choirs from Russia, Georgia, Lebanon, Egypt, Estonia, Syria, Iran, Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia.
As reported Hayern Aysor, before the concert, the participants of the sixth stage of the “Ari Tun” Program gave their special concert at Freedom Square. During the daily Armenian language courses at Yeghishe Charents School of Yerevan, the participants of the sixth stage learned Armenian dances and performed those dances at Freedom Square, engaging passers-by and transmitting their love for the homeland and Armenian culture that has been instilled within them throughout the years.
Afterwards, the participants of the “Ari Tun” Program joined the participants of the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival and motivated the Armenian choirs of the Diaspora more with their warm rounds of applause. At the end of the concert, all the participating groups came up on stage and performed Alexander Harutyunyan’s song “Hayrenikis Het” (With My Homeland) together. The communication between the participants and the audience became a symbol of the strong ties between Armenia and the Diaspora and evidence of the unity and eternity of the Armenian nation.
