OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to revisit region

The Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group intend to revisit the region, but still haven’t specified the dates.

This is what Russian Co-Chair Igor Popov told RIA Novosti. “We will obviously come, but there is still no specific date. It is being discussed with the parties. Whenever it is appropriate for them, taking into consideration their schedules,” Popov said.

He informed that on July 11, all the members of the Minsk Group held a session in Vienna with Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov, Pierre Andrieu (France), James Warlick (USA), as well as Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Anjey Kasprzik.

“In general, this meeting was devoted to the latest mediating efforts of the co-chairing countries and the evaluations of the results of the summit in Saint Petersburg. My French and American counterparts presented the conversations that they had had with President of France Francois Hollande and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. We also talked about how we can build up on the efforts of the mediators in the future,” Popov informed.
