Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin provides financial assistance to 100 Syrian-Armenian families

On June 20, World Refugee Day, with the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Social Services Office of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin provided financial assistance to 100 Syrian-Armenian families in need, as reported the information system of the Mother See.
The event organized in association with “ALEPPO” Compatriotic Charitable Non-Governmental Organization began with a unified prayer, after which Director of the Social Services Office of the Mother See, Priest Marcos Mangasaryan gave a speech in which he touched upon the problems facing Syrian-Armenians having taken shelter in Armenia. He stated that the needs and questions of Syrian-Armenians are always in the focus of the Armenian Church and especially the Supreme Patriarch.
Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Bulgaria, Rev. Archimandrite Isahak Poghosyan was also attending the event. He gave his blessings to the Armenians and attached importance to the mission of the Social Services Office in the lives of the people.
