Kurdish MP: “The adoption of the Armenian Genocide resolution by the Bundestag is 100 years late”

Co-chair of Turkey’s pro-Kurdish Democratic Party of Nations Selahattin Demirtaş has touched upon the resolution on recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide adopted by the German Bundestag.
As reported Tert.am, citing Kurdish Question website, Demirtaş, who is on an official visit to Switzerland, answered a question regarding the resolution during a press conference and stated that “it is a decision that is 100 years late”.
“This decision is 100 years late. Kurds are being massacred even today. If Germany takes a decision 100 years later, it will be meaningless…Merkel has visited Turkey several times, but has acted as if nothing is happening,” Demirtaş emphasized.
