First Armenian woman conquers Everest

First Armenian woman has reached the highest spot of the world, top of Everest, “Armenpress” reports the Armenian Federation of Alpinism informed. The hero is Irina Kharazova, who reached the top of Everest on May 20.

The group is led by Aleksander Abramov, who reaches the top of Everest for the 7th time. On April 24 Irina Khazarova posted a photo on Facebook with the flags of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh in her hands.

“I do not forget about the crime committed 101 years ago even at Everest base camp”, she wrote. Pick of Everest is 8848 meters above sea level.
