Moldovan-Armenians oppose the Azerbaijanis

The Armenian community of Moldova is also supporting Armenian soldiers and Artsakh these days. In an interview with Hayern Aysor, head of the Armenian community of Moldova Artur Avanyan said the members of the community have already started holding discussions to understand how they can help and added that, in order to avoid clashes, they have decided not to hold protests and demonstrations since there are quite a lot of Azerbaijanis in Moldova.
Let us also inform that the community will provide financial assistance to the family of Sargis Khalafyan, who died from a shot fired by the opponent on the Nagorno-Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact. Sargis Khalafyan was a freedom fighter and a father of four.
“The Azerbaijanis of Moldova also continue to commit illegal acts. They have sent letters to various embassies, stating that, supposedly, Armenia has been pressuring them for 25 years, the recent developments unfolding along the entire length of the Nagorno-Karabakh-Azerbaijan border were caused by the Armenians and the Armenians robbed them on April 2. Of course, we have sent a letter opposing them and presenting the reality,” Artur Avanyan said.
