Special prayer in New Djulfa in memory of those who died during incidents in Artsakh

On the morning of 3 April, on the Second Sunday of Easter, Divine and eternal Liturgies were served at the churches of the Armenian Diocese of Isfahan. The ceremony at St. Stepanos Armenian Church of New Djulfa was held by Diocesan Leader of the Armenian Diocese of Isfahan, His Eminence, Father Archbishop Babken Charian, reports the public relations office of the Armenian Prelacy of New Djulfa to Hayern Aysor.
His Holiness properly delivered a sermon during the Holy Mass. In his sermon, His Holiness stated that it was still Easter and that we are inspired by the Holy Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He also touched upon the incidents in Artsakh and strictly condemned the enemy, who has created a bitter situation for our compatriots on these festive days with his irresponsible behavior.
His Holiness prayed for the souls of the brave Armenian soldiers having died while sacrificing their lives for the defense of the homeland and the deceased and innocent peaceful civilians to rest in peace, prayed to the Holy Spirit for their relatives’ console and asked for strength and courage to the Armenian Army to resist the treacherous foe.
