Open lesson held as part of the Our Greats Program

On March 30, the 9th grade class of Primary School N 13 of Kapan hosted an open lesson devoted to Armenian literature. The lesson was held on the sidelines of the Our Greats Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and was dedicated to the 175th birth anniversary of Srpouhi Dussap and to the 120th birth anniversary of Vahe Hayk, reports the School’s Armenian language and literature teacher Rima Parsadanyan to Hayern Aysor.

The students learned about the writers’ lives and careers. Vahe Hayk’s short story “Katis Paran Chmoranas, Mama” was especially interesting. After listening to the short story, the students worked with the language and the original text.

The goal of the lesson was to inculcate and enroot patriotism, as well as preservation of the Armenian identity.
