The aim of the Awards “For Significant Contribution to the Preservation of the Armenian Identity” is to encourage the contributions of organizations, various groups and individuals to the development and preservation of the Armenian identity, as well as to assess and appreciate the activities of Armenian communities.
1st, 2nd and 3rd incentive prizes are set for all categories.
The “Defender of the Native Language” contest is open to Diaspora Armenian community organizations, educational and cultural institutions, language teachers, linguists, as well as cultural and literary figures and businessmen.
Those interested must submit the completed application forms to the Ministry of Diaspora by December 15, 2015.
The following documents must be attached to the application form:
-photo
-document regarding education (copy)
– a recommendation letter from the community, institution or school (with confirmed stamp and signature of the head)
-description of one’s activities as a ”Defender of the Native Language”
-materials, including videos serving as evidence of the preservation and dissemination of the native language, as well as activities and projects targeted at its development.
2. “Best Armenian Community”.
The following categories are defined for the contest:
“The most consolidated and united Armenian community”
“The best Armenian-speaking community“
“Traditional Armenian community“
“The most enterprising Armenian community”
“The most active Armenian community that participated in the pan-Armenian programs of the RAMinistry of Diaspora” .
3. “Traditional Armenian Family”.
4. “Best Artistic Group” (choir, orchestra and dance ensemble).
The winners in each category will be required to provide banking information (name, address, SWIFT, bank account), as well as additional information.
Those wishing to participate in the contest must fill out and submit application forms to the following address: RA, Yerevan, Vazgen Sargsyan Str., 26/1, or send the application forms to the following e-mail addresses:[email protected], [email protected], [email protected].
