Participant of “Diaspora” Summer School Program: “We live abroad, but each of us has the spirit of patriotism”

The “Diaspora” Summer School Program is a wonderful program that creates great opportunities and serves as an opportunity to meet new people, participate in interesting lessons and meetings, as well as visits and excursions. This allows us to enhance our skills and work more effectively in the Diaspora and in Armenia.

The Courses for Young Diaspora Armenian Leaders, which are part of the “Diaspora” Summer School Program, are prepared in the right way and are very literate, and I believe they are the most important part of the program. As a participant of the courses for young leaders, I would like to mention that it would be nice, if all young Armenians had the knowledge and skills that we gained and acquired in the course of two weeks.

I believe it is very important that we also had meetings with the heads of state administration bodies of the Republic of Armenia. We were more than impressed with the visit to Yerablur Military Pantheon. Words can’t describe my feelings. The trip to Smbataberd Fortress was unique. I simply can’t describe how we reached the fortress, how we climbed to the top and how hospitable the local villagers were when we came down…

The two-week visit was very interesting. We knew that we only had two weeks and had forgotten about sleeping. Despite the fact that we would only sleep two or three hours a day, we were strong enough to do everything. We studied, had meetings and toured our beloved city of Yerevan after our lessons.

During the visit, on behalf of the Armenian Youth Association of Novosibirsk, I was also able to carry out a charity act for a family living in very difficult conditions, for which I am grateful to all those who provided their assistance, including Anahit Sahakyan, Greta Mnatsakanyan and Haik Yengibaryan.

I am happy that I had the chance to establish contacts as the director for charities of the Armenian Youth Association of Novosibirsk.

I also made many good friends and established contacts with colleagues, for which I am very happy. All the participants were smart and educated youth from different corners of the globe. They are the glory of the Armenian nation and the pride of every nation of the world. We live abroad, but each of us has the spirit of patriotism. I am certain that each of these youth will achieve great heights and that we will hear a lot about their successes.

I am very impressed with everything, and it is truly hard for me to describe all this in words. I am extremely grateful to the RA Ministry of Diaspora, Hranush Hakobyan for carrying out this great and helpful task. I would like to express my gratitude to the leaders of the Armenian community of Novosibirsk, Frunzik Khachatryan and Artur Khachatryan. Through their efforts, the Armenian Youth Association of Novosibirsk will always participate in this program.
