China expects to see Armenia’s active participation in Silk Road restoration project

Armenia is of major significance in the restoration of the Silk Road. China expects to see Armenia play an active role in the construction of infrastructures that are part of the restoration of the Silk Road.
This is what Director of the Institute for Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasia of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Yan Tszin mentioned during a meeting with the delegation of Armenian journalists on a cognitive visit to Beijing. “Besides the construction of infrastructures, the establishment of active contacts between the nations of the countries that are part of the Silk Road is also of great significance for the restoration of the Silk Road.
Unfortunately, the Chinese and the Armenians don’t know each other well, and we hope your visit to China will help our nations communicate more actively, which will be of great significance for the implementation of the plan for restoration of the Silk Road,” Tszin emphasized, as “Armenpress” reports. According to him, the contacts between Chinese and Armenian politicians and the activation of cultural ties between the nations of the countries that are part of the Silk Road are also of major significance for the restoration of the Silk Road. Yan Tszin emphasized that China and Armenia have a lot of work to do in this regard.
