On September 7, His Beatitude Arch. Nourhan Manougian, the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem visited the reconstruction site of the Holy Edicule to see the renovation works.
At the entrance to the Holy Sepulcher Church His Beatitude was welcomed by the Project Architect Prof. Antonia Moropoulou and the staff that carries out the renovation works and was led to the Holy Edicule. There Prof. Moropoulou and the staff presented to His Beatitude the details regarding to the restoration works. Thereafter. His Beatitude was led to the laboratories which were established in the Church to make geometric documentation, scientific and seismic monitorings of the Holy Edicule.
At the end of the visit Prof. Moropoulou and the staff discussed several issues referring to the restoration works in the Armenian vestry.
