A powerful explosion took place today at Araz Plant of the Ministry of Defense and Industry in Azerbaijan, as reported APA. The plant is located in Shirvan, which is 120 km away from Baku. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan reported that news about the explosion was received at 15:30 local time. The explosion was caused by a spark from a 1,500 ton product that was designed for reprocessing. The explosion left a dozen people injured, writes armradio.am.
