his breaking Washington Post report on the GEICO Skytypers Armenian Genocide denial skywriting scandal illustrates the power you have to fight and win for truth, for justice, and for the Armenian Cause. In an apology letter, GEICO Skytypers commanding officer and flight lead Larry Arken stated, “…placing these messages should not have happened! I quickly learned about the meaning of these messages and called another skywriting company in California who was also contracted to do the same messaging. I explained that these messages were wrong and convinced them not to do there [sic.] advertising in Los Angeles yesterday and they did not…I apologize for any pain this might have caused you or your family and will make sure my organization never lets this happen again.”

Through concerted grassroots effort, we succeeded with Clear Channel (Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, etc.) and GEICO Skytypers. Now is time to contact Outfront Media and Lamar Advertising, which not only profit from genocide denial, but also violate their own corporate social responsibility policies. Contact them to demand they remove all genocide denial billboards and release a public statement of apology.
