France 24. How to live in an unrecognized State in Eastern Europe

Stepanakert, the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh, works like any other European capital with its government, institutions, public television, state university and international airport. However, any attempt at progress and development is limited by its unrecognized borders. In their reportage for France 24 in Spanish language, Ethel Bonet and Diego Ibarra Sanchez shed light on the challanges of living in an unrecognised state.

The realisation of this reportage was made possible thanks to the logistical and organisational support of European Friends of Armenia (EuFoA).

EuFoA is Brussels-based NGO seeking to build bridges between Armenia and the European Union. EuFoA does not influence and/or impact the topics of interest selected by the journalists, nor the content of the material produced, the articles and stories published in the news headlines and media outlets they represent or work with. The organisation is interested in objective and transparent coverage of the situation in the region.
