Reunion-meeting of regional commitees coordinating the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide kicking off On May 26, the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the State Commission in charge of Coordinating the Events Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will hold a reunion-meeting with members of the regional committees coordinating the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide (hall of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute). The following events will be held as part of the program : At 9 :30, the participants will visit Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial and will lay flowers at the monument to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. At 9 :50, Chief of Staff of the RA President, member of the State Commission, coordinator of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide Vigen Sargsyan will deliver opening remarks at the reunion-meeting. Among other speakers will be members of the State Commission, including RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan and RA Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, as well as Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, secretary of the State Commission Hayk Demoyan. Among other speakers will be members of the regional committees coordinating the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, as well as the chairmen of the committees and central bodies. At 17 :00, after the reunion-meeting, the participants will watch the play “Rise for the Judge” at Sundukyan National Academic Theater. The play has been staged under the sponsorship of the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
